Equity Pay Telephone Co., Inc. does not lease or sell pay phones... we furnish, install, collect and service the equipment... like Bell or Contel or GTE or United... however, we pay your business much higher commissions. For example and your convenient comparison reference; Bell commissions are usually only 8% of local coinage and/or intralata revenue and 3 cents a minute of interlata long distance. Whereas, we pay up to 25% on coinage, up to 25% on non-coin revenue collected (calling cards, collect and similar charges).

Updated Equipment

Although our pay phones look similar to the old mechanical style they are much smarter... because they contain computer chips and modems to monitor performance, so we can automatically dispatch a service technician without requiring your company or patrons to report trouble. Plus, our pay phones will allow your customers to leave their own voice message on important, busy or unanswered calls. For additional convenience and without gouging, we accept both AT&T/Bell calling cards and honor American express, Carte Blanche, Diners, Discover, Mastercard and Visa... which will increase usage. Our enclosures are also better... because they are more acoustical as well as more attractive.
